Our solid shampoo cleanses your hair, has a refreshing effect and leaves behind a pleasant, fresh fragrance reminiscent of a cool sea breeze. After the shower, your hair feels exactly how you want it to. The natural ingredients nourish your hair intensively and make it easy to comb and non-greasy.

Thanks to its handy size and square design, our solid shampoo is ideal for travelling and on the go. It comes without unnecessary packaging and is therefore an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional shampoos in plastic bottles.

Our Störtebekker shampoo is very easy to use:

You can either apply the shampoo directly to your scalp while showering or lather it up between your hands and then massage it into your hair. Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp and work it into your hair to create a rich lather. Rinse your hair thoroughly until all the shampoo has been removed. Repeat the process if necessary.

Our solid shampoo is handmade in a soap factory in Holland and is packaged plastic-free.

How should the shampoo be stored after use?

To dry, you can place the shampoo in our soap dish with a draining sieve or hang it in our sisal bag.

What is the difference compared to liquid shampoo?

Solid shampoo contains no water but more nourishing oils and cleansing ingredients. As a result, solid shampoo is more concentrated than liquid shampoo and therefore more economical.

How long does the shampoo last with regular use?

This depends on the amount of hair and how it's used. On average, the shampoo lasts 1-2 months.

Why doesn't the shampoo lather?

Due to its nourishing ingredients, the shampoo may produce less lather during the first wash. However, this does not mean your hair isn't getting clean! If you want more lather, simply wash again.
