Störtebekker beard oil cares for your beard, makes it soft and supple and gives it hold. The beard oil is suitable for all beard types and consists of argan oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, castor oil and squalane. It soothes your facial skin and moisturises your beard hair. The nutrients in the oil protect your beard from drying out and strengthen it. We recommend using it daily, spreading around two to three drops of beard oil on the palm of your hand and then working it into your beard and skin. For easier application, we recommend our beard comb.
If you want to give your beard even more hold, the beard balm is the right product for you.
The Crusoe fragrance is reminiscent of the captivating story of Robinson Crusoe, a shipwrecked sailor who spent several years on an island. The Störtebekker beard oil would even get his overgrown beard into shape.

What beard oil consists of exactly depends on the quality of the product in question. High-quality beard oils are made from natural ingredients. In detail, this means: beard oil for men is composed of a carrier oil and several essential oils. The carrier oil has nourishing properties—it makes the beard hair soft and shiny and moisturizes the skin underneath. Störtebekker beard oil consists of argan oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, castor oil, and squalane. Why do we love this combination so much? The nutrients contained in the beard oil strengthen your beard and protect it from drying out.
Many men still ask themselves: Why do I need beard oil? What beard oil does is as simple as it is essential: care. And not just for the beard hair itself, but also for the skin underneath. The beard hair itself becomes smoother and softer through the use of beard oil, which avoids itching and skin irritation caused by stubbly beard bristles. It also gains a beautiful shine and looks generally better groomed. The skin under the beard hair is moisturized by the beard oil. Skin irritation, redness, and discomfort caused by shaving or beard stubble can thus be alleviated. The skin becomes generally healthier and more resilient.
Beard oil or balm?. The difference lies in the consistency and the associated method of action: beard balm is solid, while oil is liquid. Because it is liquid, beard oil is able to absorb faster and better into the skin and beard hair, thus having a more intensive care effect. The beard balm coats the beard hair more heavily and is therefore a type of nourishing styling cream. In this respect, it can also make sense to use beard oil and beard balm together: particularly long, wiry, or wild beard hair can first be softened with beard oil and then shaped with the balm.
Not all beard oils are created equal. Depending on which effect is particularly desired, a beard oil with the appropriate ingredients should be chosen. Almond oil, for example, nourishes the hair and prevents split ends. Argan oil strengthens and nourishes the skin and provides intensive care. Castor oil, in turn, provides a shiny and well-groomed effect. In any case, you should choose a high-quality beard oil with exclusively natural active ingredients.
Störtebekker beard oil is composed of several high-quality natural oils. Jojoba oil, almond oil, and argan oil form the nourishing base substances. We have also enriched our beard oil with castor oil. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and thus prevents skin impurities and irritation. Additionally, we use squalane oil for our product. It helps the skin retain moisture and reduces dryness.
We describe the scent of Störtebekker beard oil with the term “Crusoe.” It is meant to evoke the adventurous stories of the seafarer of the same name and is tart, distinctive, and yet fresh. This is provided by amber and sandalwood, as well as light citrus and vanilla notes.
Beard oil is suitable for every beard and for every beard length. We even recommend it for 3-day beards. After all, beard oil is partly about the care of the beard hair itself. It is also primarily the optimal skincare product for beard wearers. For 3-day beards, it prevents itching and redness that can easily be caused by overly stiff, short stubble.
In general, beard oils last between three and twelve months, depending on which oils are used. This is also the reason why the product is sold in relatively small bottles. Always store beard oil in a dark and cool place to extend its shelf life. As soon as you notice a rancid smell, you should replace it with a new one.
