To provide you with a perfect shave, we have developed our own Störtebekker razor blades. These are made of Swedish stainless steel, making them particularly sharp. Nevertheless, the razor blades are very gentle on the skin and provide you with a pleasant shaving experience. The razor blades are delivered in a 100-pack containing 5x 20 blades. You can use our Störtebekker razor blades in any safety razor as well as in any straight razor, and they are intuitive to insert. If you are unsure about the correct handling, you will receive a free shaving and beard guide for download with every one of our products. It shows you how to properly use the razor and the blades so that even as a complete beginner with little practice, you will soon be able to achieve a perfect shave and save a lot of money compared to cartridge razors. Do your beard a favor and see for yourself the quality of our Störtebekker razor blades.
To avoid cuts and skin irritation, it is important to use the razor blades correctly. Please only shave with the proper preparation. To open your pores, you can place a warm towel on your face. Then, lather your face with shaving soap and let it sit for a moment to lift the beard hairs and soften them. Start by shaving exclusively in the direction of hair growth. You should hold the razor blade at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the skin. Simply let the razor glide over the skin without applying pressure. Applying pressure can otherwise lead to cuts. Once you have shaved the entire area in the direction of hair growth, you can then, after reapplying the shaving soap, also shave across and against the grain to remove the last remaining hairs. With a little practice, you will develop a good feel for how best to hold your safety razor or straight razor. After that, nothing stands in the way of a great shave!
