The Störtebekker shaving soap tasting set creates the perfect lather for your shave. The choice of four different fragrances ensures an experience with every application. Also ideal for sensitive skin, the foam opens the hair channels and makes your beard hair beautifully soft. The perfect preparation for shaving with a safety razor or straight razor.

Our shaving soaps are handmade in a soap factory in Holland and are packaged plastic-free. We recommend our shaving brush and shaving bowl for lathering up the foam.

How do I use the shaving soap?

1. Dampen your shaving brush with warm water
2. Place the shaving soap in the bowl, add a little bit of water, and move the brush with some pressure in a fast circular motion in the bowl
3. Apply the resulting lather and let it sit for 2 minutes before shaving.

Does the shaving soap contain animal ingredients?

No, our shaving soap is made from purely natural ingredients.

What are the dimensions and weight of the soap?

The shaving soap weighs 70 grams, is 2 cm thick and 6.5 cm in diameter.

How long does the shaving soap last with regular shaving?

On average, the soap lasts for 3 - 6 months.

Is it possible to melt down small soap scraps to get a whole bar of soap again?

When melting down the soap, some ingredients can become ineffective due to the heat. Furthermore, melting can cause the texture and consistency of the soap to change. Both of these factors impair the lathering properties and the glide during shaving. Therefore, we advise against melting down soap remnants. If you use slightly hotter water, you should still be able to lather the small remaining pieces.
