How does the solid anti-dandruff shampoo work?

The solid shampoo contains Piroctone Olamine (0.3%), a special ingredient that effectively helps against dandruff by fighting the cause of flaking on the scalp. It ensures a cleansed and balanced scalp, so that dandruff is reduced in the long term.

What makes Piroctone Olamine so effective against dandruff?

Piroctone Olamine targets the fungus that often causes dandruff and prevents new dandruff from forming. It helps keep the scalp healthy and balanced.

How do I use the solid shampoo correctly?

You can either apply the shampoo directly to your scalp while showering or lather it between your hands and then massage it into your hair. Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp and work it through your hair to create a rich lather. Rinse your hair thoroughly until all the shampoo is removed. If necessary, repeat the process. Store the shampoo in a dry place after use, ideally in one of our aluminum soap tins.

Is the solid shampoo suitable for all hair types?

Yes, the shampoo is suitable for all hair types, especially for those with an oily or flaky scalp. It provides a thorough cleanse and a soothed scalp.

Is the shampoo eco-friendly?

Yes, the shampoo is packaged completely plastic-free and is handcrafted in a soap manufactory in Holland. It is the ideal alternative to conventional shampoos in plastic bottles.

Is the anti-dandruff shampoo vegan & cruelty-free?

Yes! All of our shampoos are vegan and produced without animal testing.

What's the difference between the body bar and the solid shampoo?

Although both look similar, they are formulated differently and precisely tailored to their respective areas:

Solid Shampoo Bar:
- Contains mild surfactants, vegetable oils and active ingredients
- pH-hair friendly (approx. 5–6), gentle on the scalp
- Simultaneously cares for & cleans hair and beard perfectly

Body Bar:
- Traditionally saponified, thoroughly cleansing
- Alkaline (pH approx. 8–10) and therefore ideal for normal to oily skin
- Is gentle on healthy skin, but can be drying on hair

👉 The crucial difference: The solid shampoo is mild & nourishing, making it great for sensitive scalps. The body bar is stronger in cleansing and thus good for the skin, but can dry out the hair.

After how many applications can I expect results?

In our participant survey, 60% of users reported a visible reduction in dandruff after just the first application.* However, for the best results, we recommend regular use for at least 4 weeks. To see lasting effects, the shampoo must naturally be used long-term.
