At Störtebekker, we value sustainability and are against animal exploitation. This is why we deliberately decided against a shaving brush made from badger hair during development. Our research revealed that badgers are kept in terrible conditions in China and killed to make brushes. We do not want to support this. Our tests showed that our shaving brushes produce the same lather quality as badger hair brushes.

Together with the stainless steel shaving bowl and the fragrant shaving soap, the fine shaving brush is a high-quality shaving accessory set that is second to none.

How do I lather shaving foam?

Step 1: Moisten the brush with warm water
Step 2: Place the shaving soap in the bowl, add a little water, and move the brush with some pressure in a quick circular motion in the bowl
Step 3: Apply the resulting foam and let it sit for 2 minutes before shaving.

Why don't you use badger hair for the brush?
